Sous Chef - Reigate - £26k
I am currently recruiting for a Sous Chef for a brand-new opening near Reigate, who are set to open as soon as government guidelines allow in May.
The restaurant caters for 40 covers indoors, as well as a 100 cover terrace, taking on a casual dining concept during the day and a more formal dining on a Friday and Saturday night.
With this being a new opening, you will start with small, dedicated team which will grow as business levels do – you must be prepared to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in to all areas of the operation, whilst being strong enough to run the kitchen in the Head Chefs’ absence.
The ideal Sous Chef will have the following skills/ experience;
- Have worked at Senior CDP or Sous Chef level role for a minimum of 2 years, with extensive operational experience
- Competent in all sections of the kitchen, including sauce
- Used to working with fresh ingredients, making everything from scratch
Please note that this role will predominantly be day time hours Sunday-Thursday, with evenings/ late nights on a Friday and Saturday.
