General Manager - Gloucestershire - £38k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for my client's site based in the Cirencester area.
My client is a leading independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for a stunning boarding school. The kitchen caters for 450 covers a day over a breakfast, lunch and supper service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 25 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
As the General Manager, you will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers. This site hosts a number of high end events including weddings and conferences, so someone with a high level of hospitality is required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge
- Currently working at a Catering Manager or General Manager level
- Have a proven background or experience within education
- A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
- Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality
- Hold a current DBS
Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business
