Assistant Catering Manager - Brighton - £25k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Catering Manager for my client's site based in Brighton. This role requires someone with a strong people manager, who can lead by example and has the ability to nurture their team to deliver the very best in terms of customer service.
My client is a leading Contract Caterer and are recruiting for a stunning site in Brighton. The kitchen caters for 300 covers a day over a breakfast and lunch and dinner service. The Assistant Catering Manager will support a team of 30 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
As the Assistant Catering Manager, you will also be involved with events as well as liaising with clients on a regular basis. This site hosts a number of high end events, so someone with a high level of hospitality and strong craft skills is required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge
- Currently at Assistant Catering Manager level
- Strong personality and enjoys being the face of the unit
- A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
- Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality
- Hold a current DBS
