​Head Chef - Hertfordshire - £50k

I am currently looking for a Head Chef who has experience and a passion for working with fresh ingredients across both hospitality and student dining.

My client is a leading Independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for a boarding school in central Hertfordshire. The kitchen caters for approximately 900 people daily. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for a team of 12 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        Currently at Head Chef level

·        Have a proven background within Contract Catering

·        Strong people management skills

·        High volume experience

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, with Saturday’s to suit the demands of the business.
