​Deputy Catering Manager - Nottingham - £40k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Deputy Catering Manager for my client's site based in the Oxford area.

My client is one of leading independent schools in the area and are recruiting for this absolutely stunning property. The kitchen caters for up to 1000 covers a day and provides a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. As the Deputy Catering Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 35 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team, as well as ensuring that all operational standards are hit.

As the Deputy Catering Manager, you will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers. This site hosts a number of high end events, so someone with a strong Events/ hospitality experience is required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        Currently Deputy Catering Manager or a similar sized operation or Catering Manager of a smaller operation

·        Have a proven background or experience within education catering

·        High volume experience

·        Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality

·        Hold a current DBS

Working occasional weekends on a rotational basis
