Head Chef - Mid Sussex - £30-£35k
I currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head Chef for a new opening in Mid Sussex. The venue is currently undergoing a huge refurbishment and is due to open at the start of July.
This is a multi-faceted venue with a members area, 200 seater restaurant, event space, private dining rooms and a terrace, with incredible views across the Sussex countryside. As Head Chef you will work closely with the owners who are full of passion and creativity for their project but need your knowledge and expertise to make it happen.
You will be part of the pre-opening team, responsible for everything from kitchen design, supplier sourcing and menu concepts – the lot!!
The ideal Head Chef will have the following skills/ experience;
- Minimum of 3 years at Head Chef level
- Previous pre-opening experience
- Strong technical ability and used to working with fresh produce
- Varied experience and catered for both high volume restaurants and events
- Flexible approach to deal with the demands of a new business
