General Manager - Dover - £45k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for my client's site based in Dover.
My client is a leading independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for a stunning boarding school. The kitchen caters for 550 covers a day over a breakfast, lunch and supper service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 40 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
As the General Manager, you will also be responsible for the cleaning services, so someone who has worked as a General Services Manager, would hold a distinct advantage – however it is not essential.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge
- Currently working at a General Manager or General Services Manager level
- Have a proven background or experience within independent education catering
- A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
- Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality
- Hold a current DBS
Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business
