Assistant Manager - Surrey - £25k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Assistant Manager for my client's site based on the Sussex/ Surrey border. This role requires someone with a strong contract catering background and a passion for developing the business.
My client is a leading independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for a stunning school in Surrey. The kitchen caters for 700 covers a day over a breakfast, lunch and supper service. As the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 15 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
As the Assistant Manager, you will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers. This site hosts several high end events including weddings, so someone with strong experience in hospitality is required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge
- Currently in a management role
- Have a proven background within contract catering
- A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
- Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality
- Hold a current DBS
This role is a Monday to Friday position.
