My client is a leading venue group and they are currently recruiting for a Venue Operations Manager to be based at one of their events venues in London.

As Venue Operations Manager, your main focuses will be the following:

  • To ensure the smooth handover of events from sales to the operations team

  • Lead on all logistical planning on allocated events to ensure successful delivery

  • Lead on all administrative tasks prior to each event and collect/collate relevant paperwork and information to distribute to all relevant parties in good time

  • Understand and implement the venue’s operational best practice and ensure these standards are being upheld at all times

  • Understanding the venue’s staffing and service requirements for security, cleaning, crew and stewarding, using this to gain quotes from approved suppliers, book staff and brief/manage on the day

  • Book and lead site visits and planning meetings with the clients and suppliers

  • Supporting the Sales Team with advising clients regarding operational planning

  • Produce a post-event report and schedule de-briefs for the internal event team and all relevant suppliers/clients

  • Deliver the highest level of customer service and be the main onsite contact to manage the running of all corporate, brand and filming events

  • To be aware of tenants within the building and assist in managing their movements during live events

  • To provide assistance to the wider company as and when required

  • Process all supplier invoices relating to the event for payment

  • Maximise sales and upsell at all opportunities

  • Maintaining strong relations with our Landlords and other stakeholders

For this Venue Operations Manager role, I am looking for a candidate who has:

  • A minimum of 2 years Event Management experience within either contract catering, event catering, hotels or venues

  • Experience of managing large scale events

  • Understanding of how to coordinate and plan an event in the lead up to it taking place

  • The desire to grow with an exciting, forward thinking company
