​Hire Desk Controller - Stanford-le-Hope, Essex - 22k-25k

My client is a hire company based in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex and they are currently recruiting for a Hire Desk Controller to join their team.

​

For this Hire Desk Controller role, your main responsibilities would be:

​

• Taking customer enquiries and orders for equipment

• Providing quotes ensuring you maximise every opportunity, promoting the full range of services and units available

• Preparing hire contracts and booking haulage for delivery/collection

• Providing appropriate statistical information to the Hire Desk Manager when required

• Chasing outstanding invoices

• Assuming responsibility where necessary in the absence of the Hire Desk Manager for the day to day smooth running of the hire desk

• Carrying out occasional site visits to ensure access is viable for vehicles as well as visiting new and existing clients

All candidates applying for this Hire Desk Controller role will ideally have experience in a similar hire company and therefore the ability to deal with multiple enquiries daily in a fast paced environment.
