Head of Events - London - 38k

My client is a leading London contract caterer and they are currently recruiting for a Head of Events to leading the planning and delivery of events at one of their London venues.

​

As Head of Events your main focuses will be the following:

​

• Creating and implementing event plans and concepts with prospective clients

• Handling quotes, budgeting and invoicing

• Responding to all enquiries within 24-hour timeframe

• Liaising and negotiating with external suppliers as and when required

• Handling logistics and all operational management of the event from enquiry to completion

• Updating senior management and attending regular events meetings

• Writing and distributing post-event reports

• Working with the events partnerships and marketing teams

• Carrying out P&L’s and month end accounting

• Conducting site visits and show rounds

• Being an ambassador for both the company and venue

• Developing key relationships with the client at the venue

• Keeping up to date with latest trends in events and hospitality

All candidates applying for this Head of Events role must have been in a similar event planning and event management role within the last year.
