​General Manager - Contract Catering - £50k

I am currently looking to recruit a General Manager for my client's site based in the Cambridge area. This role requires someone with a strong contract catering background and a passion for developing the business.

My client is one of the leading independent Education Caterers and are recruiting for a day school, where they caterer for approximately 500 pupils. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 20 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        Currently at a General Manager within Contract Catering

·        Managed both hospitality and counter service operations

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality

Working Monday to Friday, with very occasional weekends.
