General Manager - Oxford - £65k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for my client's site based in Oxford.

My client is one of the leading Contract Caterers who are recruiting an experienced senior manager to lead the team at this high volume venue. This is role is not for the faint hearted, consisting of 15 retail/ restaurant units and extensive event space – are you up for the challenge?

As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 70 staff and 5 direct management reports, ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs with a P&L in the region of £4m.

The ideal General Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge;

·        Currently working at a General Manager of a large site or an Operations Manager within Contract Catering.

·        Full of innovation and creativity to develop the food offering.

·        A strong background in both retail and events/ hospitality.

·        Strong stakeholder relationships

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business, as you would expect in a 7 day operation.
