​General Manager - South West London - £45k

I am currently looking to recruit a General Manager for my client's site based in South West London. This role requires someone with a strong contract catering background and a passion for developing the business.

My client is one of the leading independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for a stunning day school. This role isn’t for the faint hearted - the kitchen caters for over 1000 covers a day. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 30 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

As the General Manager, you will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers. This site hosts several high end events including weddings, so someone with strong experience in hospitality is required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        Currently at a Deputy General Manager level or above

·        Have a proven background within contract catering

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality

Working predominantly Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, to suit the demands of the business.
