​General Manager - Surrey - £60k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced General Manager for my client's site based in the heart of Surrey. This is no ordinary General Manager role and would suit an Operations Manager looking to get back into heart of their business at single site level.

My client is a leading Contract Caterer and are recruiting for a location in Guildford. The kitchen caters for close over 1000 covers each sitting and offer a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for a management team of 6 and 70 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs with a P&L in the region of £3m.

The ideal General Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge;

·        Currently working at a General Manager or a large site or an Operations Manager within Contract Catering.

·        Full of innovation and creativity to develop the food offering.

·        A strong background in both retail and events/ hospitality.

·        Strong stakeholder relationships

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business, as you would expect in a 7 day operation.
