Executive Head Chef - Buckinghamshire - £50k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Executive Head Chef for my client's site in the south of Buckinghamshire.
My client is one of the UK’s leading Contract Caterer’s and are recruiting for this absolutely stunning venue. This role is not for the fainthearted, with the kitchen catering for 2000 covers a day over a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. As the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for a team of 10 staff ensuring the food remains of the highest standard, is always evolving and on trend, innovative and nutritious. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
As the Executive Head Chef, you will also be involved with high volume events for up to 1000 people. This site hosts a number of high end events, so someone with a strong fine dining background and craft skills is required.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge
· Currently at Head Chef level of a large site
· Have a proven background or experience within Contract Catering
· A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
· Strong financial acumen and experience in managing a P&L of £2m+
Your core hours will be Monday to Friday, but with this being a 7 day operation, you will be required to work regular weekends as the business dictates.
