Executive Head Chef - Mid Sussex - £40k
I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef for a site in Mid Sussex. My client is an independent caterer who place a real focus on fresh, local produce and are looking for a dynamic Executive Head Chef to join their team.
As the Executive Head Chef, you will be responsible for a team of 6 staff in this varied operation, with a mix of retail/ counter service restaurants and event space. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.
The ideal Executive Head Chef will have the following skills/ knowledge;
· A strong background working with fresh ingredients
· Have a proven background or experience within contract catering
· A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures
· Strong people management skills
Please note this is a 7 day operation and does require someone willing to work weekends as the business dictates, however you will predominantly work day time shifts only.
