My client is a leading B&I contract caterer and they are looking for a Events Sales Manager to join their team at one of their flagship contracts in the City of London.

For this Events Sales Manager role, I am looking for a candidate who possesses the:

• Experience of venue sales, negotiation and identification of upselling opportunities

• Understanding of financial planning and setting realistic and ambitious targets

• Background of planning and coordinating a variety of events including conferences, meetings, receptions and dinners

• Knowledge of managing a venue bookings diary and client database

• Ability to simultaneously manage multiple events and work well under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Experience of conducting site visits of the event spaces

• Ability to guide clients through the planning process, and ensure that all documentation is ready to handover to event operations and the facilities team in good time
