Events Sales Manager - Kings Cross, London - 33k plus bonus
My client is a premium London restaurant in Kings Cross and they are currently looking for an Events Sales Manager.
For this Events Sales Manager role, your main duties would be the following:
Manage event bookings from start to finish which includes liaising with the client to meet their needs, creating proposals, creating bespoke menus together with the Head Chef, arranging food tastings, creating function sheets and ensuring these are distributed to the relevant departments involved
Support the reservations team with restaurant and bar bookings
Be the first point of contact for any private bookings or events enquiries, examples of which include drink receptions, private dining, product launches, presentations and meetings to name a few
Proactively identify and secure new revenues for the restaurant and follow up on leads of new potential business, proactively seeking business, selling the venue, attending and hosting events
Conduct site visits with clients and menu tasting with clients
Assist with ticket sales for any restaurant events open to the public
When needed, raise and issue contracts, invoices and final invoices for clients within agreed timeframes
Occasionally provide host support on reception
Liaise with the Accounts Department for deposit management
Accurately record and track revenue generated
Write accurate function sheets to ensure seamless delivery by the front of house and kitchen teams
Applicants for this Events Sales Manager role will ideally recently have been in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
