Event Manager - London - 30k-32k
My client is a leading contract caterer and they are currently recruiting for an Event Manager to based at one of their venues in London.
As Event Manager, your main focuses will be the following:
To operationally and strategically lead on events
To manage catering logistics, including event file handling, event briefing sheet and service plans
To manage orders of equipment, beverages and staffing
To ensure all enquiries and client feedback are managed professionally and in a timely manner
To continuously work towards improving sales and service
Provide appropriate guidance and support to all direct reports
Leading and motivating the team through ongoing evaluations, listening, training and mentoring
Financial and budget management including forecasting, cost control and forward planning
For this Event Manager role, I am looking for a candidate who has:
A minimum of 2 years Event Management experience within either contract catering, event catering, hotels or venues
Experience of managing events for up to 200 people
Understanding of how to coordinate and plan an event in the lead up to it taking place
The desire to grow with an exciting, forward thinking company
All candidates applying for this Event Manager role must have been in a similar position within the hospitality sector in the past year.
