​Director of Catering - Hertfordshire - £55k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Director of Catering for my client's site based in Hertfordshire. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking for a 5* Manager to join their team.

My client is a leading one of the UK’s leading Contract Caterers, who place a real focus on the development of their people. The kitchen caters for close over 3500 covers a day, so this role is not for the faint hearted. As the Director of Catering, you will be responsible for a team of 80, ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs with a P&L.

The ideal General Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge;

·        Currently working as a General Manager or Operations Manager within Contract Catering.

·        Full of innovation and creativity to develop the food offering.

·        A strong background in both retail and events/ hospitality.

·        Strong stakeholder relationships

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, however you will be required to work weekends to suit the demands of the business.
