​Deputy General Manager - London - £55k

I am currently recruiting for one of my favourite B&I sites in London – and I don’t say this lightly. This site is absolutely stunning and for me, is unrivalled in the facilities they have and the service they provide.

This role is not for the faint hearted, with a turnover in excess of £4m, I am looking for an experienced Deputy General Manager from a similar sized unit, or a General Manager/ Catering Manager who can see the benefits of gaining experience within a much larger operation.

This stunning B&I contract in the City incorporates a good mix of hospitality and retail catering for the 2000 staff in the building. Facilities include a staff restaurant, multiple coffee bars, a 300 seater auditorium and almost 100 meeting/ private dining rooms – this role needs a big industry player!

As Deputy General Manager you will lead and inspire a team of over 50 to deliver the very best standards as well as looking at the business strategy, working with a management team of 6 to drive the business forward.

The ideal Deputy General Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge;

·        Experience in both corporate hospitality and staff dining

·        Managed teams in excess of 50 people

·        Commercially aware and the ability to increase sales

·        Financially aware and worked with a P&L in the region of £3m
