Deputy General Manager - London - £40k

I am currently recruiting for a Deputy General Manager within a stunning venue in central London. If you’re looking for a role within a contract that hosts a wide range of events from formal business meetings to elaborate drinks & canape receptions, then this is the role for you.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a hotel background to move into the world of contract catering. You will be responsible for running of the Event Operations department, whilst still supporting the other areas of the F&B operation.
The ideal Deputy General Manager will have the following skills/ experience;
· Have worked within an Event Managerial role for a minimum of 3 years, with extensive operational experience
· Worked within a 5* hotel/ venue in an events capacity
· Capabilities of running events for up to 500 people
· Flexible approach to running events and the ability to meet the clients demands to tight time frames
You will not be required to work every weekend and late nights are few and far between, you will need to be prepared to work evenings and weekends to suit the demands of the business.
