​Chef Manager - Healthcare Catering - £38,500k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef Manager for a care home in South East London. My client is one of the leading national Caterers, so this is a role with huge career potential.

As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 12 staff plus casuals, ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal Chef Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        A strong Craft background, ideally within the care sector

·        Extensive knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Strong people management skills

Please note that this is predominantly a Monday to Friday role, but you must be willing to work occasional weekends, as the business dictates.
