​Chef Manager - South Wales - £31,500k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Chef Manager for a catering contract in the Newport area. My client is a leading Caterer and are looking for a dynamic Chef Manager to join their team. The kitchen caters for up to 400 covers and operate a breakfast, lunch and dinner service. This would be a great move for a Hotel or Restaurant Chef to get into the Contract Catering sector.

As the Chef Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 3 staff, ensuring consistent food quality, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

The ideal Chef Manager will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        A hands on Chef Manager who leads by example

·        Extensive knowledge of nutrition and dietary requirements

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Strong people management skills
