​Catering Manager – Dorset - £39k

I am currently looking to recruit an experienced Catering Manager for my client's site based in the heart of Dorset. This role requires someone with a strong craft background, ideally looking for a Chef Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

My client is a leading independent Education Caterer and are recruiting for this stunning boarding school, catering for 500 covers a day. As the Catering Manager, you will be responsible for a team of 10 staff ensuring training, development and management of the team. You will be financially responsible and able to manage budget and costs.

As the Catering Manager, you will also be involved with school events as well as liaising with parents and teachers. This site hosts a number of high end events, so someone with a high level of hospitality and strong craft skills is required.

The ideal candidate will have the following skills/ knowledge

·        Currently at Chef Manager/ Catering Manager level

·        Have a proven background contract catering

·        A strong understanding of all Food Hygiene/ Health & Safety procedures

·        Willing to be involved in school activities and a strong background in events/ hospitality

·        Hold a current DBS

Working predominantly Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends.
